WHY BBA EXISTS

Before motherhood, marriage, responsibility, comparison, and the pressure to have it all figured out.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us got really good at becoming what everyone else needed us to be. And somewhere underneath all of that…

MEET JEN
BBA started with me finding my way back to myself.
For a long time, I was really good at doing what needed to be done. Building a career. Taking care of people. Being a wife, a mom, a professional—all the versions of me that life required.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I missed me.
Not because my life was wrong. I just wanted more room for the parts of myself that had gotten quieter—the creative part, the curious part, the part that wanted to try things simply because they made me feel alive.
Photography was one of the things that brought that part of me back. Picking up a camera again reminded me how much I had missed it.
And in a lot of ways, that became the idea behind BBA, which stands for Be Badass. But badass doesn't mean having everything figured out. It doesn't mean being fearless, louder, tougher, or more impressive.
To me, there is nothing more badass than being yourself. That's why there's a Social Room. That's why there's photography.
That's why there are experiences that give you permission to try something new.
I’m figuring it out, too.
